How it works

A 2D CAD file is a raster (image) file that contains two types of information: marks and polygons. A mark is a vector object that represents an object. The object can be a line, a circle, or a 2D or 3D polygon. A polygon has a number of sides; each side is a line, and each line is called a vertex. Each polygon in a CAD file is called a polygonal surface.

When a designer draws a polygon, the software can automatically select the polygon’s vertex to which the line is connected. When this vertex is clicked, the line is displayed, and the line’s arrow is placed on the vertex. The designer draws lines in this way to create shapes and design objects.

When the designer draws a polygon, the software creates a series of connected lines between the polygon’s vertexes, and then adds the new line to the polygon. You can change the type of shape the software creates by using one of the shape options. Shape options include Circle, Rectangle, and Ellipse. The shape selected appears in the 3D Viewport, and can be drawn or turned in 3D space.

AutoCAD was originally developed by Viking Corporation (formerly known as Spray Paint Corporation) with drawings by Bill Tanksley in 1983. Development continued at a fast pace and an early prototype was developed by Chuck Wills and Mark Hammond in September 1983. It was initially released under the name “Asterix” and was a sophisticated mechanical drawing program with extensive optional features and functionality. In 1986, work began on a new set of commands to replace the code written by Chuck Wills and Mark Hammond, which was named “Asterix II” and was released as a beta version. When Autodesk released the original release of AutoCAD, there were problems with proprietary software incompatibility. Viking designed AutoCAD to run in DOS with only 16 MB of RAM and fixed memory. The design was partially inspired by the video game Doom, which ran similarly. At the time, the company had a large number of games and application programs, but few were portable. Because AutoCAD could be run from a floppy disk, it was a popular choice for CAD programs.

First of all, you don’t need a license key. All you need is an Autodesk Account.
Click on your avatar to the right of this text to go to your Account Summary page. Click Activate.
Then on the bottom-left, click on Licensing Info, and then on Licenses. The last page will show all the licenses for your Account.
You should have the Software Licenses underneath Software.

How do I get intellij to recognize my SSL cert as valid?

I am trying to do some work with the GTK & GeeLog python libraries. I need to set up HTTPS as a middleware and have it working.
I have a certificate. I can get a cert to work with curl but can’t get Intellij to trust it.
I’ve added the cert to the JAVA cacerts file and added the truststore to the intellij settings. But for some reason it does not recognize the certificate as valid.
If I use the GeeLog python ssl module and verify the cert I get

Is there anything else I can try to get this to work in intellij.


Ok this took a while to figure out but I found a solution.
I was using the file contained in the jar as the cert file. I had to create a keystore and cert file and move them to the location it was looking for.
