the ralink rt2860 chipset is currently supported by freebsd. this is the driver used for newer ralink wifi cards, such as the rt2860, rt2860ex, rt2860g, rt2860, rt2860, rt2860, and rt2860sta. note that the rt2860sta chipset does not support wep encryption. this is not the only difference between the rt2860 and rt2860sta:
