HOW TO MEASURE

This process is very important and essential for your window blinds have the desired result. Follow the instructions below and in case of doubt do not hesitate to contact our team.

BEFORE START: INSIDE OR OUTSIDE A RECESS?

Inside a recess means your blind will fit inside.
Outside a recess means your blind will be installed outside the window.
Inside and Outside a recess

INSIDE THE RECESS

Measure the width inside your window frame from side to side and top to bottom.
IMPORTANT: Ensure there are any obstructions that may stop your blind hanging freely when fully extended. Also, if the window opens inwards or if the recess is less than 6cm deep the blind may have to be fitted outside the recess. Any doubts please contact our team.
Important! We will make no adjustments to your measurements!

OUTSIDE THE RECESS

Decide how much you want your blind to overlap the wall or window frame on each side. Usually the overlap is 6cm to 10cm on all sides but could be altered dependent of available space and your personal preference.
Remember, we will make no adjustments to your measurements!

SOME GENERAL TIPS

* Measure in centimetres (cm), to the nearest 0.1 cm
* Use a metal tape measure as it will be more accurate
* Look out for window handles, tiles and alarm sensors or anything else that could get in the way of your blind
* Double check all your measurements before you place your order as your blind is made to the exact size you request.
